RamAid provides emergency financial assistance to eligible Colorado State University students experiencing financial hardship. The program supports students facing unforeseen expenses that fall within the standard Cost of Attendance (COA) and may otherwise create financial barriers to their ability to remain enrolled and be successful at CSU.

Please note: Multiple Ram Aid requests within the same academic year may not be approved.
Process and Timeline
- Submit the RamAid Fund Request, providing details about the emergency that resulted in financial hardship. Supporting documentation may be required, depending on the circumstances.
- The Office of Financial Aid will review the student’s circumstances and follow up with appropriate options or referrals, which may include financial aid appeals or on- and off-campus resources such as the Rams Against Hunger Food Pantry.
- The RamAid request form will be reviewed to determine whether an emergency occurred and whether it resulted in an unexpected expense.
- Most applications are processed within 5 business days. However, if there are missing documents or additional approval is needed, processing can take longer.
