Colorado State University has begun receiving 2024-25 FAFSA forms from the U.S. Department of Education. Here’s what to expect over the next couple of months:

• Now: Students for whom we have received FAFSA forms are being notified. These email notifications will be ongoing as we continue to receive applicant data from the U.S. Department of Education.
• Mid-April: Students will have the ability to make updates and corrections to their FAFSA forms. In advance of that implementation, the Department will provide detailed information to partners, students, and families on how to correct the most common FAFSA form errors including no signatures and selecting ‘yes’ to applying for unsubsidized loans only (Question 8).
• Mid-to-Late April: Students who need to submit additional documentation to process their FAFSA form will be notified.
• Late April:  We will begin communicating financial aid offers to newly admitted undergraduate students and veterinary medicine students.
• Late May: We will begin communicating financial aid offers to continuing undergraduate, graduate, and professional students.

CSU’s Office of Financial Aid will continue to provide updates on 2024-25 financial aid and FAFSA processing timelines as more information becomes available. We appreciate your patience and encourage you to keep a close watch on your email for any updates related to your financial aid.
