Getting Started

Participation in an Education Abroad program is an honor and a privilege that will add many new and exciting experiences to your educational pursuits.

For information regarding various types of programs Colorado State University offers, program costs, required forms, and important deadlines visit International Programs

To be eligible for financial aid, you must be enrolled at Colorado State in a degree-seeking program and be participating in a University-approved study abroad program. You may use federal, state, and/or institutional aid for an approved study abroad program. You may not use work-study awards, Colorado Opportunity Fund (COF), or Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) tuition for the term(s) you are abroad. The term(s) you are abroad will not count towards your maximums for COF or WUE.

**You cannot postpone your graduation in order to study abroad and expect to receive financial aid. In these cases, participation must be at your own expense.
