Participation in an Education Abroad program is an honor and a privilege that will add many new and exciting experiences to your educational pursuits.

To be eligible for financial aid, you must be enrolled at Colorado State in a degree-seeking program and be participating in a University-approved study abroad program. You may use federal, state, and/or institutional aid for an approved study abroad program. You may not use work-study awards, Colorado Opportunity Fund (COF), or Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) tuition for the term(s) you are abroad. The term(s) you are abroad will not count towards your maximums for COF or WUE.
**You cannot postpone your graduation in order to study abroad and expect to receive financial aid. In these cases, participation must be at your own expense.
Financial Aid & Education Abroad Workshops and Advising will be held over the spring term every Tuesday and Wednesday (except for breaks and finals week) from 1pm – 4pm in room 338 of the Lory Student Center through the end of April. Please watch the above video for basic information on financial aid for studying abroad prior to coming to walk in advising. From May-August (until the first week of fall classes) we do not have walk in advising, but do offer appointments.
