Online Residency Orientation

The online residency orientation is available for students who meet one of the following qualifications.

  1. At least age 23 and/or a graduate student on or before the first day of classes for the semester for which they are petitioning.
  2. Married for one year prior to the first day of classes for the semester for which they are petitioning.
  3. The parent will be petitioning on behalf of their unemancipated minor under the age of 23 who is an undergraduate student.
Online Residency Orientation
All students that do not qualify under one of the above qualifications or are pursuing a financial emancipation are required to attend a virtual residency orientation. Please review virtual orientation information below.

  • Emancipation requirements
  • Answers to your questions

Virtual Orientation Time and Location:

Typically occur the first and third Tuesday afternoons of each month at 3:00 MST via Zoom.  The Zoom link will be emailed no later than the morning of the orientation.  To attend a virtual residency orientation you must sign up below by 4pm the day prior.  Any exceptions to the typical schedule will be noted below.

  • December 2024 Residency Orientations will be held on the first and second Tuesday afternoons
  • Orientations will not be held during the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.
